PICK & SPEAK Activity

*Pick and Speak - A Fun Activity for Sentence Framing and Speaking Practice*

Class - 2nd

Speaking activities help children express their thoughts clearly and confidently. To make learning more interesting, a “Pick and Speak” activity was organized in the class.

*🎯 Objective:*

To improve students’ sentence framing, vocabulary, and speaking confidence.

*Activity Description:*

At first, the teacher explained the rules and demonstrated how to pick a word slip and make a sentence using it. Children then took turns picking slips and making simple sentences like “I like mango.” or “The dog is running.”

In the next round, students themselves took the lead. They went to their friends, asked them to pick a slip, read the word, and make a sentence. The classroom turned into an active space for speaking and sharing. Students enjoyed helping one another and listening to their friends’ sentences.
